A Composite Acoustics Legacy or Bluegrass model or a CA Tim Stafford Model. CA's are graphite but are braced to sound like a Martin or Taylor. They REALLY sound NICE!! I have 2 and I'd take mine over any Martin or Taylor any day!!
Blueridge has a model 180 that sounds fairly decent, as is easy on the pocketbook as well.
Have you looked at Taylors?....www.taylorguitars.com/guitars. I suggest shopping around and ask if you can pick on several different types to see how you like it over all. I am a novice at best at playing but know a slew of people that play. I hop...

Howdy! Nice to hear from you. I did indeed work at Famous Old Time Music. Vernon and I still have a teaching studio in Cincinnati but the retail store is now in Wapakoneta, OH. We're still travelling with Appalachian Grass and playing various showdates, too.
