Blueridge has a model 180 that sounds fairly decent, as is easy on the pocketbook as well.

- July 4th is a very important day because this july 4th marks 52 years ago , the country gentlemen came together to form the best band bluegrass music has ever seen , the best that ever was : the original country gentlemen :The band started on July 4, 1957 as a replacement group for Buzz Busby’s Bayou Boys when several members of that band were injured in a car accident. The band’s original members were Charlie Waller on guitar and lead vocals, John Duffey on mandolin and tenor vocals, Bill Emerson on banjo and baritone vocals, and Larry Lahey on bass. After a few early changes, the band settled into a somewhat permanent lineup consisting of Waller, Duffey, Eddie Adcock on banjo, and Tom Gray on bass

- My husband Mark does a radio show called the Local Talent Revue on 106.3 fm that features Michigan artists. We play Country,bluegrass,gospel,novelty and oldies. If you'd like consideration for some airplay, send you bands CD to:Local Talent Revue, P.O. Box 305, Mecosta, Mi 49332. Mark plays an 8 string resonator in the Bluegrass Echos, a West Michigan bluegrass band and also the steel guitar in our Keepin' It Country band.
